Bacchus Wine Closures Ltd completes its ?300,000 funding with participation from London Business Angels
London Business Angel's investment in Bacchus Wine Closures Ltd leads the way to a technology for upgrading corks in the wine industry. This will improve wine quality for consumers. The business has consolidated a licence and marketing arrangement with a leading cork producer in Portugal and is now in a position to take on the 15bn global cork market.
Managing Director, David Taylor, is the brains behind this technology. Both he and Bacchus Chairman, David Mo?d say that London Business Angels' support was key to settling this deal. LBA helped to raise the funds required to support the expansions and commercialisation of Bacchus.
