Following its 10th company presentation event held at the City Marketing Suite on the 16th October 2014, over 100 entrepreneurs have now participated in the Angels in the City programme (www.angelsinthecity.org.uk) with 39 of these entrepreneurs having raised over £30m of early stage capital, including
Audioboom, an early stage technology company presented to London Business Angels (LBA) investors in October 2009 and raised circa £200k from LBA investors as part of a circa £600k funding round in May 2010.
London based early stage children’s edtech specialist, Night Zookeeper (www.nightzookeeper.com), has closed a further investment of £90k, including an investment of £65k by the LBA Roundtable Syndicate Fund 2014, which takes the total amount raised by the company in recent months to over £440k.

DefiniGEN, a Cambridge, United Kingdom-based provider of stem cell life science products and services, closed a $3.83m Series A funding round.The round was led by Cambridge Enterprise and 24 Haymarket, with participation from existing
